Every design starts with a sketch — whether it’s a simple drawing you’ve made on the back of a napkin or a carefully detailed illustration made by one of our experienced designers. With your idea beginning to take shape, we translate the sketches or illustrations into a detailed 3D model capturing all of the elements digitally. We'll conduct regular online design reviews together, with the ability to inspect the design via an interactive 3D viewer on your web browser.
When your project requires it, we can perform calculations or take advantage of advanced analysis software to evaluate and prove the best technical solution. Kinematic studies, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, drop tests, and more inform and optimize your design to deliver predictable performance and exceptional results.
Based on the 3D models we create, we generate clear and accurate technical drawings. Complex assemblies are made simple with exploded views and parts lists. Multi-step process parts like castings and weldments are broken down step-by-step. Sheet metal flat patterns make production faster and more efficient. Our comprehensive drawing packages are easy to understand and take you one step closer to production.
We quickly create prototypes with our in-house machine shop. We have a number of prototyping platforms available for use including 3D printers, CNC mills, CNC lathes, EDM machines, inspection equipment, and more. Our network of vendor partners extends our expertise with sheet metal, welding, casting, finishing, and other capabilities. Prototyping can help shake out any final design changes. We’ll iterate until you’re happy with the end product.
Once the design is set, we can create high quality photorealistic renders and animations of your product, machine, or equipment. Share these with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate function and aesthetic, or use them in marketing material to presell your product to customers.
Once you’re set on a design, we can help you make 1, 10, or millions. We have connections with many different types of production facilities in North America and around the world. We can provide advice and professional assistance, or work directly with the manufacturer on your behalf. We'll work through this challenging final stage of development with you, providing the manufacturer with everything they need to ensure successful production.
